We seek to transform...

I come from a small village in Bihar, India. As a child, I received a scholarship from the Indian government of Rs. 10 per month for five years, Rs. 50 for four years, and Rs. 110 for two years, a total of Rs. 5640. This amount of Rs. 5640, spread over 11 years, assisted me in acquiring my education.

The support I received led me to study multi-faceted subjects like Policy, Economics, Law, and Political Science from some of the world’s top universities like Harvard Kennedy, The Fletcher School, and EDHEC Business School.

I found the imperative need to provide equal opportunities to underprivileged children while ensuring the digital transformation of the education system in the country. I believe that the possibilities to learn and advance will bring India at par with all the other developed nations with a well-educated populace.

Be the lamp in the journey from darkness to light…

Research suggests, every additional year of education increases a country’s GDP by 18% and raises an individual’s income by 10%. If every child becomes literate and capable, there will be 170 million fewer people living in poverty. Education is not a synonym for learning. Each learning builds a synapse or neural connection in the student’s brain. In the last decade, this ‘learning-outcome’ of children in India has steadily declined. Whilst the national budget spent on education has increased substantially in the last 10 years, it has seen very few children perform at an exemplar or a global level. We believe that substantial learning-outcomes can be achieved only when we invest in a child’s education consistently, for a minimum period of 5 years. Your contribution of “A Dollar A Day” $1 for 5 years will ensure that the child becomes learned & not just educated.

Technology: A boon to new age teaching

If you think about it, even though there is a huge generational gap between our parents and us, education was imparted in the same way to both generations. And, even as society evolves and mobilizes, resulting in new ideologies and technological advancements, how come have our teaching methods remained stagnant? Almost everywhere, work ethic, mannerisms, […]
